Bakcell’s Applab program and INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center held a Demo Day for the participants of their joint incubation program.
The purpose of the event is to bring together startups who need funding and potential investors who want to invest and to support the establishment of sustainable relationships between the parties in a healthy environment.
The finalists of the joint incubation program implemented by Bakcell and INNOLAND were invited to demonstrate their achievements and innovations and meet with representatives of companies and business people interested in investing in promising startups.
Bakcell-backed Bon.az ( www.bon.az – online cashback service), Towaves ( www.towaves.com – a network that brings together like-minded people) and Fonibo ( www .fonibo.com – food and food delivery platform) startups also have the opportunity to provide information about the project and plans and attract the attention of potential investors.
In 2018, Bakcell and INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed a partnership agreement. Under the agreement, Bakcell and INNOLAND are implementing a joint incubation program for local startups. During the incubation period, startup teams work more effectively on their projects and use the free office space, professional advice, equipment, training and other opportunities provided by INNOLAND and Bakcell to turn startup ideas into successful and innovative businesses.
It should be noted that since 2014, local startups and developers involved in the development of various software and hardware have received support from Bakcell’s AppLab program to implement their ideas.
